Women Who Move Money
Women Who Move Money 2026: Rights. Justice. Action.
Finance is power.
But power must be fair, and fairness begins with asking:
Who understands it?
Who controls it?
Who is protected by it?
Who is excluded from it?
This year, Women Who Move Money turns its focus to something deeper than growth. We turn toward rights, justice, and action.
When I started my career, I looked to women who had honed their voices in their industries to help guide my path. Some I know personally, like Caroline Mutoko who has shaped my own career, and Anita Erskine who shapes money conversations from Africa to the world, while speaking other women’s names in rooms bustling with opportunity. These women move the needle where it matters most.
‘Women Who Move Money’ is more than a celebration, it’s about recognition with responsibility. It is about documenting power where it exists and questioning where it does not. This year’s edition expands beyond borders and beyond balance sheets. It honors women who are ensuring that finance serves justice, that opportunity is not selective, and that action follows intention.
So as you read, look beyond the headline roles. Look at the systems being shaped. The access being widened. The standards being raised.
Because when women influence how money flows, they influence who thrives. And that changes everything.
